Fees can be automatically debited from your investment account, and the relationship is pay as you go. You are not locked into a long-term contract.

Where your assets are held

Your investment accounts are held at Charles Schwab, which serves as the independent custodian for AlignPoint client assets.

Your assets are held at Schwab in your name rather than by AlignPoint. Schwab provides the custody and account infrastructure, while AlignPoint provides the planning and investment management.

You can view your accounts directly through Schwab and receive account statements from Schwab.

Schwab also maintains standard brokerage protections, including SIPC coverage.
